Silver
- AMORIVA object is mostly of silver copper alloy, not silver plated so it is extremely durable. Rooted from the goldsmith family, we cast our work using pressure casting technique, similarly to fine jewelry. This technique is second to none as it gives the most delicate details and highest quality surface. We intentionally oxidized our silver figure to give the vintage appeal. This original patina is a kind of glow combined with fine darken details.
- Please avoid contact with strong chemical and acid. You can dust the piece with soft cloth or may rub the silver with silver polishing cloth once in a while to keep it shining.
Silver Plating
- We silver plate the item with top jewelry plating technique. Therefore, the object remains a long lasting durable finish. However, please avoid contact with strong chemicals and acid. - When we started to look for an alternative color of metal, we spent years searching and finally obtained a tailor-made bronze from Italy. Our bronze is anti-tarnish with pink gold color tone. We intentionally oxidized our bronze figure to give the vintage appeal. This original patina is a kind of glow combined with fine darken details.

Mother of Pearl
- Beautiful shiny mother of pearl, also known as Nacre, is the inner lining of pearl producing oysters. AMORIVA‘s mother of pearl is a byproduct from cultured pearl farms in Andaman. Thanks to its organic and inactive nature, it is perfect for serving caviar. In addition to its mesmerizing iridescence, mother of pearl is also renowned for an amazing toughness.
- Avoid exposing the mother of pearl to acidic or strong chemical. After serving food, you may use warm and soapy water and soft brush when cleaning and dry with soft cloth. Otherwise, you only need to lighting dust with soft cloth.
Marine Shell
- It would have been a pity for the fisherman to throw away these beautiful marine shells after eating the flesh. These beautiful shells are carefully sorted and processed by hand in Thailand. It is a painstaking process including cleaning, sanding and polishing to transform the marine nature into the beauty of ocean.
- The shell itself is durable in nature but can be chipped with hard impact. Please also keep it away from heat and direct sunlight. After serving food, you may use warm and soapy water and soft brush when cleaning and dry with soft cloth. Otherwise, you only need to light dust with soft cloth.
- AMORIVA generally uses solid teak and rosewood, mainly from root part because of its outstanding wood texture. The shape and form of wood object is varied due to the handcraft and nature of each raw wood but it is generally similar in size. Every piece is one of a kind in color tone and wood texture.
- The wood does not require any special cleaning other than a clean with a damp cloth and immediate dry wipe with a soft cloth. Please avoid long exposure to sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Shagreen
- Ray shagreen is incredibly durable. When cared for properly, shagreen should last a lifetime. Natural shagreen may show some variation in color shade and texture.
- Please avoid contact with anything wet or oily, or any cleaning agent. Please keep away from direct sunlight or moisture. You only need to lightly dust with a cotton cloth to maintain the original beauty.
Marble
- AMORIVA marble is from the Northeastern part of Thailand. It is very durable and attractive. We carefully select the beautiful specimen but natural rock may vary in crystalline and tone.
- This natural rock can withstand heat and sunlight. It is very low maintenance. Normally, you only need to wipe down the object using a nonabrasive cloth, if needed you may use a sponge and a mild soap. Please avoid exposure to acid and chemicals.
- All of our horn items are natural and they are safe for serving food. With their authentic nature, the horn items come with their natural marking and varied in color.
- Please avoid high heat and store out of direct sunlight. After serving food, you may use warm and soapy water and soft brush when cleaning and dry with soft cloth. Otherwise, you only need to light dust with soft cloth.
- Imperfect is more beautiful than perfect. That’s why we prefer AMORIVA glass vases to be hand blown art in the traditional way. A slightly irregular shape or small imperfection adds to the charm of a piece of glass. The smoky color is from the glass itself so it will not be fading away.
- With the nature of glass, you can easily wipe off dust with soft damp cloth. Avoid scratching the glass and hard impact. Your object of beauty will last for many years.
